Guy was out in the Great vast South Western United States.........
He was behind Mary who was riding on a large bull... with spindly hind legs... a friendly creature on top of everything...... it was damn near comical...
How could the animal keep from falling? plus Mary was not that small........ but she was holding a leather whip of sorts... it was not terribly long and had a hard sort of bulbous end... and Mary was not overly pleased... that day............ Guy felt like a rat........ and he had to contend with it.
Guy looked off into the distance and there was a beautiful man made glass facade in front of an opening on a mountain...
A great commotion was ensuing up there.... in the distance and growing closer it seems a girl had fallen forward somehow on a trail up there and was injured.. the medics were coming down the hill with a rolling gurney.... white sheets flapping....
Making a big blown out deal over it all like the girl was going to die if they did not race her to the hospital... she was fine up and yapping.. with maybe a broken ankle or something...
But they insisted on Guy taking one of the corners of the gurney and running full blast fast as they all could ... down the hill... like a bunch of crazies.........
Guy feared His heart would turn into a hardened muscle... and it would kill him... to run down that hill and the girl was not even gravely injured.... but the push was on...
Screw that Guy thought to himself... he was not going to allow himself to die... just because they were frantic... he did not fancy his heart turning into a knot and then him dying for it...... he turned away after running briefly and feeling his heart start to harden..........
NO Thank you...........
She was fine......... she would be.....
Guy spoke out from a distance as they were growing further apart...... he called out to Mary ' I love you'... he was sure she must of heard it, but he felt guilty non the less.......... it was her daughter.
